LOVE ROSE – A poetic fusion of heart and rose, symbolising the beauty and fragility of love. The deep red heart takes the form of a blooming rose, representing passion and romance, while the thorned stem reflects the instinct to protect love from harm.
Just as a rose’s spines defend its petals, the heart sometimes shields itself – yet in moments of fear or anxiety, those very defences can unintentionally wound. This artwork captures the delicate balance between vulnerability and protection, making it a striking statement piece for any space.

• About the original artwork:
This piece was hand-painted with watercolours on paper. It was then scanned and digitally refined in Photoshop – removing any dust marks and replacing the paper background with a clean, snow-white tone for a stronger contrast. The colours were slightly enhanced to bring out the intended vibrancy.
